Which is the best to play games on plus price wise two???

Opteron 146: $249.00

Socket 939, 2.0GHz CPU Frequency,E4 Stepping,1MB L2 cache, 0.09u, 32/64 Bit architecture, Hyper-Transport,HT2000 MT/s, Retail package (comes with heatsink and fan).

OR

Amd Athlon64 3500+ (939) venice: $321

Socket 939, 2.2G CPU Frequency, 512K L2 cache, 0.09u, Venice Core, 32/64 Bit architecture, Hyper-Transport, Retail package (comes with heatsink and fan).

OR

Amd Athlon64 3700+ (939) San Diego: $379

Socket 939, 2.2G CPU Frequency, 1Mb L2 cache, 0.09u, San Diego Core, 32/64 Bit architecture, Hyper-Transport, Retail package (comes with heatsink and fan).

Which is the best to play game outa of these and is it really worth the extra $120

2 things

1 is overclocking bad for it and it means it will die in a few years

2. i dont know how to overclock all i want is somthing that can play games in the years to come fast

i would go with the venice 3500+ due to it being 60$ cheaper...

double cache is NOT going to effect your gaming preformance AT ALL.

the area where this cache will help is video/cad work and since your going amd i would asume that you are doing nither.

however that opteron being cheaper would be my choice but since your not a ocing person i would not get it
