I have almost 160gig of music, complete cd's and when viewin them I am sick of switching the view to list. Is there a way that I can make the list view the default for all file on the computer? I looked in control panel, file and folder options already and could't find anything. Doc Symbiosis Posted December 10, 2005 Share Posted December 10, 2005 Just set the view in the current folder to list. Then go to Tools -> Folder Options -> View and click Apply to all folders. Then these settings are taken for all folders. Only thing is, that also your other foldersettings ( e.g. show hidden files ) of the current folder are taken for all folders.
