Anyone know how to get Pest Patrol 5 to silent install? Any help would be appreciated-thanks

version 5 can be installed this way : extract the msi which lies in the setup.exe, then run the msi with the following parameters: /qn /qb /quiet

unfortunately a window pops up after install which ask wether to search for updates or not...

i don't know if there is a serial number questioning while setup

You need to use Orca to delete some custom actions to avoid the search for updates checking

Use Orca to open PestPatrolv5.msi then search the table CustomAction and Drop the following Rows

ACTION

CustomPostInstall

CheckForProductUpdates

CheckForProductUpdatesOnReboot
