What RAM to use ? MSI KT6V-LSR Rate Topic: -----

I have a MSI KT6V-LSR and want to buy some ddr, whats the best option ?
pc2100 to match my cpu's fsb ? @266
or
pc3200 and have not so eficient results
or does it really matter and go with the 3200 ?
I figure 2 x 512 otta do it and may update to Xp3200 cpu, someday

double check voltage requirements. and it should auto slow down to given speed. (may need bios update)

You should get the PC3200 even though you won't be running at that speed. Running the memory slower than it's rater for should allow you run with really tight latency timings (i.e. if it's rated for CAS2.5 at PC3200 then you should be able to run CAS2 at PC2100 speeds).

Even if the board does let you run it at PC3200 speeds having extra memory bandwidth available is never a bad thing. :)

nice. have fun with no lag b/c of no ram.

btw, you sig is hard to read, i cant even see some of the stuff. try making it all 1 color or readable colors.

1 gig is a minimum standard amount of ram to have these days for optimal computer usage.
