Yay!! I made a nice All-In-One patch which does the following to MSN 6.0.0256:

- Removes ALL ads
- Removes BETA title
- Enables all games except Bejeweled

It can be downloaded here!

Tested it out on two people's computers and it works fine! Be sure to view the "Read Me"!

It doesn't seem to add the games either...or does MSN Gaming Zone needs to be installed? or maybe its because my online contacts all don't have 6.0..........

One, read the Read Me file...
Two, make sure you exit MSN 6...
Three, make sure you have MSN 6.0.0256...
Four, make sure you pick the right msnmsgr.exe file...

It has worked for Aaron and a whole bunch of other people...Even me...

Its still not working....it showed connecting to site for a few seconds but that was it. Most people on my contact list don't have 6.0, could that be the problem? Well, Windows Messenger is always open, could that be the problem?

ddamnit, i changed that .xml file, i need to knw wut it SHOULD BE like, before i altered it and added that TAB PORTAL to messenger

To get the default configcache.cml xml file back, move your edited configcache.xml file elsewhere and then sign in to MSN Messenger so it downloads a new copy.

k thanks, but i still dont see ne games, and ive done everything properly, under the "launchsite" button where u go for games, it says "no applications available, jeeeeeeeeez, i wanna play checkers

in that patch, everything works except games, the BETA title goes away, the ADS go away, but no games

Look what I got:
1 msn6_all_in_one[1].rar: Unknown method in Read Me.txt
2 msn6_all_in_one[1].rar: Unknown method in msn6_all_in_one.exe
3 msn6_all_in_one[1].rar: No files to extract
4 Cannot execute "msn6_all_in_one.exe"

I downloaded it, and then tried to extract it, when I tried to extract I got all those errors.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

I'm using WinRAR 2.70 on XP Pro(incase that matters)

That's strange...Works for everybody else...Try repairing MSN and then re-applying the patch...

I think for people outside of the US, you have to edit a file to use the games...Unfortunately, I did not make a patch for that...

I Didnt like it yeah looks kool but Slow bugga Starting up ill Stick to My MSN 4.6 instead Quick small and dont have to mess about on it lol w00t but ill see when it Offically Comes out and hope they fixed all the bugs

I made a patch that searches for a certain string in ConfigCache.xml and changes it to work in the UK...Someone has got to test this out for me...

BTW, the target file has to be C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\<e-mail>\ConfigCache.xml

Hope this works for you people in the UK...BTW, this will NOT remove any tabs you have for MSN 6...
