I want to load my harddrive on a different computer. This harddrive was originally on my ibm thinkpad laptop. Is there anyway[b] to load it on a different computer?
thanks

Different computer as in another laptop or a desktop computer? If you mean another laptop then yeah, just move it over. If you mean in a desktop you'll have to get a converter because laptop hard drives are a different physical size than desktop drives and they use a different connector.

you can do what he said but if you dont want to switch out the hdd then you can just transfer the files over a home network, or you can buy an ethernet crossover cable.

Yes, i just want to transfer and use this as an "external" harddrive that can be portable from computer to computer. Is there a hardrive booter sort of thing that connects to the hard drive, and from the harddrive connects to the computer using a usb cable?
