Hey guys, long time no post. :hello:

I got this software a long time ago to put a password and disable some stuff on my computer. I forgot the password. :realmad: I went on there site and tried do download a password reset software, but thats 10$. Why should i pay them 10$ when i already paid for the stupid software? I tried uninstalling but that needs a password as well! What can i do???? :wacko::realmad:

What do you mean by disable your stuff on your pc. I don't want to do that, i want to recover my password in some way, or uninstall this software. But i told you already i need the password to do everything. Any ideas? :}

[EDIT] Give me 5 minutes brb.

OK I did a little test.

I unpacked the exe using sandboxie, i logged what files were installed and where.

Then I installed pcsecurity on my pc and locked a folder with a file i copied into it.

I made sure pcsecurity was locking the folder, it did, and then i tried to kill the program, which you will see is very easy to do!

I noticed the pcsecurity program added a service called 'winser'.

I also noticed with AutoRuns that it added two files to system startup.

I sucessfully disabled the program from starting up in 1 minute.

Reboot into safemode.

In safemode the winser service is not running so i could already access my 'locked' folder and file. :lol:

Go into the Windows directory and rename sdaemon.exe to sdaemon.bak and winwd.exe to winwd.bak. Then go a little deeper into system32 and rename winsersec.exe to winsersec.bak.

Reboot normally, pcsecurity is now disabled.

Now i want to point out i only locked a folder, I dont know what you have done with the program.

Also i want to say this program is a joke :lol:

Right now i am laughing. I went to my start up and disabled the programs that are associated with pcsecurity, and restart my computer. I then go to the uninstall and voila, perfectly uninstalled. That is pathetic. :lol: I am glad i am through with this nonsense! Thanks you so much digerati, greatly appreciated. :D

  • 4 years later...

actually u dont need to do like that.... i have an another idea... simply lock your "C" drive with PC security ... the program will be disabled automatically ... because the program and ur OS installed in "C" drive.. if u try lock that drive it wont be work.. so u can open the locked files... :D:P :P
