Hi,

I have been working some time now on my Unattended Install cd, which currently features:

XP Pro Build 2180
Service Pack 2 slipstreamed
RyanVM's Updatepack 01/06
Bashrat's Driver Packs
Application Install through GuiRunOnce

The installation works out just fine, everything installs perfectly, however the installation has a minor flaw in it: the screen after the "Press a button to boot from cd"-screen and before the Partition-select screen stays black.

Before I applied the RyanVM's pack the screen was blue, and displayed the drivers loaded during the installation in the bottom. However, it doesn't show now, but it does load the drivers (so it does function). I would like to have this screen back, even if it's just for looks.

Is there anyway to get this driver-loading screen back? :)

I had the same problem couple of days ago.

Same setup:
XP sp2 + Ryan's Updatepack

Same symptoms:
black screen (no information about the current activity).

It was with the update pack on a FR version of WinXP -.-
After replacing the right update pack for the right language, that problem was resolved for me.

Hi all!

If you could find out what's causing it, it could just be another visual tweak for Windows XP! Cool :D
