Alrighty then. Pick a file at the root of your CD. I chose WIN51 as my CD also has Windows XP on it. If you had a CD.TXT file you could use that. Or you could create your own, so that each disk is unique like AIO1.txt if you have different version of the disk.
Click over to the text side of the window. just after the %c: type \WIN51 and substitute WIN51 with your file, and be sure to include the file extension if there is one. Win51 doesn't have one, so I didn't. Also make sure that it's in ALL CAPS. I don't know if it really matters, but better safe then sorry.

where must i copy the file fincd.exe ?
in fincd i have the path with WIN51: i must modify the name of a directory for my dvd project (actually the root folder is AIO-DVD) ?

la version francaise donc:

je voulais juste savoir ou je devais mettre le fichier findcd.exe

dans le topic on parle d'un fichier win51 (a la racine du projet) qui est le 'cd identification file for windows
xp' (apparenment il y a 1 fichier par OS) :
que contient ce fichier ?
a quoi sert il ?
est il créé a partir de fcind.exe ?

Il y a plusiers fichiers d'identification sur le cds de windows xp:
WIN51 présent à la racine de tous les CD windows xp.
WIN51IP présent sur le CD windows xp RTM (sans service packs)
WIN51IP.SP1 présent sur le CD windows xp SP1
WIN51IP.SP2 présent sur le CD windows xp SP2
Ceux sont en fait des fichiers textes, avec aucun contenu, ils sont juste là pour permettre au programme d'installation de reconnaitre le CD inséré.
En cas de cd/dvd multi version, ces fichiers sont à recopier plusieurs fois dans d'autres sous dossiers.

Findcd.exe est UNIQUEMENT utilisé pour windows 98 et n'a besoin d'aucun fichiers d'identification, donc indépendant des précédents fichiers cités.

juste une derniere question: faut il copier quelquepart le fichier fcind.exe dans l'arborescence de mon dvd multiboot si je choisi de mettre w98 dans mon dvd multiboot

si oui je le met tel quel (et ou dans l'arborescence) ?
