IE7 To IE6 Converter ...something that makes IE6 apps think thanti'm running IE6 Rate Topic: -----

I just installed IE7 Beta 2, but i cannot access my WLMa (windows live mail) because, well i dont know. So i was wonering if there was such a think that makes Webapps think i'm running IE6 but i'm really not.

there was a way to make WLM work with IE7
:} but i forgot where i saw it...

Change the relevant registry keys to report your IE version as 6:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent]
"Version"="MSIE 6.0"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\Post Platform]
"SV1"=""

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Version Vector] 
"IE"="6.0000"
