OS: WIN2K SP3
Office Ver.: 2K SR-1
IE 6 with all updates loaded

I know this sounds weird, but I have a user that is
getting IE script errors when trying to use the help
files. It happens when they try and open the Project Map
section. The HTML help file opens just fine, but when
they move the cursor over the window, the script errors
start. They are from IE, blue text and red text errors.
The funny thing is that I can run the help files under the
Administrator profile with no problem whatsoever. Any
advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Kind Regards,
Danno49

Same happened to me, my virus scan would go mad when i clicked help, i had to uninstall some things, then restart, but it worked fine! also, try using help in safe mode, then try it in normal mode, that should help :)

Have you been to the Office Update site to check for updates? I remember there being a patch for Project 2000 to fix a problem that occured in Win2k3, but I can't remember what exactly. If there's no updates, then it was probably for Project 2000 Central, a different version from the Project 2000 client.

Interesting ideas. I have tried the Office Update site and don't remember seeing anything. I'll try it again.

Safe mode and then trying to acces the help files? Hadn't thought of that one either, I must confess. Thank you for your suggestions. I'll see what happens and let you know the results.

Thank you for your ideas!

No luck on any of those ideas. Oh well. It's not really a show stopper but I do appreciate your input!

= :)
