Jimmydee Posted February 26, 2006 Share Posted February 26, 2006 I have a Dell 8400 Dimension with SATA Raid drives and I am trying to re-install XP Home. I run teh program from the CD and enter the setup for installation, at the command I hit F6 to load mass storage drivers which I downloaded from DELL.com. I select the appropriate choice of drivers and teh error message pops upfile iastor.sys caused an unexpected error (512) at line 2113 in d:\xpsprtm\base\boot\setup\oemdisk.cIf anyone has any advice about this please HELP ME!!!/Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

O_o Use server 2003 / 2000 or at least XP Pro. use common senseum...maybe he only has the oem home cd, maybe he isn't licensed for pro or a server os...maybe he likes to stay legal and not break the ms licensing so why don't u use some common sense...
