4 posts in this topic

Hi I am pretty new to this, but i have made a cd that is almost like I want it, exept that I want it to autoformat the first partition on the first disk only, not the whole disk. and I want to give it NTFS as file system. can anyone help me on this.

Unfortunately, this isn't possible using the standard WINNT.SIF method. If you configure the WINNT.SIF for autopartition/autoformat it automatically uses the entire drive. If you want to create partitions during install you'll have to do it manually. It's a small price to pay for getting things exactly the way you want them while having the remainder of the install completely automated. :)

This is an unattended install question, so the other topic is in the right place. No cross-posting please. It doesn't help anybody.
