I'm experiecing some major problem with this board.
I frequently get lock ups (around every 5-10 minutes), I can't boot again unless i wait around 30 minutes!

Here is my setup:
AMD64 3800+
2x1GB Kingston Value Select
Pioner DVD-RW
2x250GB Seagate (RAID0)
1x160GB Seagate
Geforce 6600 256mb RAM

As a temperary work around I'm now running the SATA drives of the SiL 3114 chip.
That seems to improve the stability but it still locks around every 1h
And this way i can't use the 160GB since the Sil Chip doesn't see it, it only sees the RAID

Problems started acoring once the Chip fan died, I replaced it and now the temp are around 35°C Idle, in stead of around 37°C Idle.
The fan died around the same time i switch to sata drives.

I think that the NB Chip is getting to hot might be the problem, but 35°C seems okay to me.

35C is fine , thats exactly what im at right now. i hope that u didnt damage anything when the fan died...

are you using the latest chipset drivers from nvidia? version 6.70? if that doesnt work u could try a dual boot and installing windows again on another partition.
