i have winuae latest version
kickstart 1.3 rom
shadow of the beast .lzx game
all i want to do is play this game...how do i do it? when i start emu all i see is the floppy inserting into drive animation, no key seems to do anything..how do i load the stupid .lzx file?

.lzx files aren't the proper amiga game files. look for .adf...or PM me and i can possibly sort you out

lzx files are compressed archives [another common one on the amiga is .lha].
If you're unsure what i mean, think of a zip file [or a .rar or .7z file - Winrar can unpack lzx files i believe just to let you know

It will probably unpack a .adf disk image [or disk images] which you should then "insert" into WinUAE - in the "virtual floppy drives"
Please remember that legally, you need to own the game [unless it is become classed as abandonware or has been "allowed" to be downloaded from the publishers/creators] and with the kickstart rom, you need to own the approriate amiga that has the rom that you have.
I havent the time to explain more right now, but google any phrases i've used will probably help you understand what i mean
