should it possible?i mean simply make cosmetic for win2k so it look not too outdated (vista/xp icon?, new color scheme?), maybe some file need to be hacked for that pleasure, and let me know what they are?
- ntoskrnl.exe
- explorer.exe
- shell32.dll
- ?????

ok what i mean is any other file i can hacked a bit?for now i have only "play" with the 3 files (explorer.exe,ntoskrnl.exe,shell32.dll) any other files that contai some ui? like userui.dll?

Have you considered Tclock (posts by WildBill)?
Or Search the web for DeskColor prog that give you transparent text on desktop, that and a few
other (3,4,dozen?) utils will get you a more XP-like desktop.
