Trying out TuneUp Utilities I saw that it's possible to hide either the drive letter or the drive name, when showing in explorer... so when knowing it's possible, I'd really like to find out how it's done so I can make a .reg file for it...

I've searched a bit but all I've found is about changing the icon of a drive. Please help me out!

Ahh... sorry - it can be done using Tweak UI (MS PowerToy)

By the way... on my machine the choices in Tweak UI have switched somehow meaning that to only show the drive name I have to select the 3rd option (Show network drive letters before label......).

So if you're having problems just try one of the other possibilities
