Phoenix_Remind
Hey all,I created an unattended CD pacthwork-like by using Nlite for SP2 and hotfix integration. To install drivers however I followed the unattended.org .SIF method. Here are my files:In my $OEM$\$1\Drivers:I have 000_chipset, 001_network, 002_graphics, 003_sound.**Problem? I didn't put setdevicepath and watchdriversigningpolicy in this folder as it says to do when installing drivers via CD because I did the .SIF way.**Let it be noted that the drivers ARE on the local machine after I use the CD I created they are just not being installed. My .SIF file:;SetupMgrTag[Data] AutoPartition=1 MsDosInitiated="0" UnattendedInstall="Yes" AutomaticUpdates=yes[unattended] UnattendMode=FullUnattended OemSkipEula=Yes OemPreinstall=Yes UnattendSwitch="yes" DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore AutoActivate = Yes TargetPath=\WINDOWS OemPnPDriversPath="Drivers\000_Chipset;Drivers\001_Network;Drivers\002_graphics;Drivers\003_Sound" DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore [GuiUnattended] AdminPassword=* EncryptedAdminPassword=NO AutoLogon=Yes AutoLogonCount=1 OEMSkipRegional=1 TimeZone=35 OemSkipWelcome=1[userData] ProductKey= * FullName="GDC" OrgName="GDC, LLC." exrcizn
I hate to ask this but do you have the correct drivers for the PC?
Phoenix_Remind
LOL - yes.I am still learning much about Unattended installs but I do have the correct drivers.Like I said they do go to the appropriate folder on the local drive after the CD finished installing, they just do not install.** Maybe it's because I did not make a direct path to driver and just pointed to the folder instead? **** I have a big hunch that is what it is. I will burn and try it again. I figured it was something dumb **So instead of OemPnPDriversPath="Drivers\000_Chipset;Drivers\001_Network;Drivers\002_graphics;Drivers\003_Sound"it should be OemPnPDriversPath="Drivers\000_Chipset\xp;Drivers\001_Network\WinXP;Drivers\002_graphics\Win2000;Drivers\003_Sound\SMAXWDM\W2K_XP" Edited April 4, 2006 by Phoenix_Remind
