Hello,

I cannot extract the msi file from Addobe Premier Pro 1.5. During product installation, the msi file cannot be found anywhere on the computer file system. How can the msi be obtained?

Thanks in advance.

-Paula

download any archive manager such as 7-Zip
and see if you can extract the contents of the setup exe

Hello shooter468,

I tried 7-zip on setup.exe and it says:

setup.exe is not a supported archive.

Hello boooggy,

I tried:

setup.exe /a

setup.exe /extract_all

Neither of these produced the msi file I was looking for. The mdxredist.msi file did exist.

Thanks for trying.

Less MSIérables: A tool to Extract the contents of an .msi File

Sorry, that tool is for msi extraction.

Did you look at %temp% (and subdir below it) after launch setup?

...and InstallShield cabs you can extract i5comp or i6comp tool.

I have the same as pdecker I think, I can't extract all files from office 2003 trial archive, while when I run setup, they are all in temp folder (I don't remember really, it was a long time I last tested)

jyrwin, do you have a solution, to get all files extracted from the self-installer archive? I'm not sure what files are not extracted when I extract it by winrar/7-zip etc

Tks in advance
