And that's why I would like to have your opinions on which firewall ist better. p.s. There a quite a number of linux based firewalls, but I've come down to these three:
- smoothwall
- ipcop
- OpenBSD

Hi, I have an old PC laying about, and want to use it as a firewall/router with some linux based firewall. There are countless guides but all of them claim to be the better solution. Now, as I have got to know MSFN, there is some really good knowledge being passed on here! keep it up And that's why I would like to have your opinions on which firewall ist better.

Use Smoothwall... Its probably the easiest to setup and use!

IPCop is easy to setup as well, it's based off smoothwall
