MNETEL Posted April 20, 2006 Share Posted April 20, 2006 I have a Dell dimension XPS Gen 4 w/ Intel pentium 4 processor 3.46GHz, 1066FSB W/ HT TECHNOLOGY, EXTREME EDITION Running MSW MCE 2005...on ATA RAID 0, Dual 160GB Hard Drives...Here is my situation, When I turn on my computer, after the Dell logo appears, I then receive a black screen w/ a blinking cursor in the upper left hand corner, If I power it on & off a number of times, It will then boot up...Is there anyway to fix this situation ??? ranjit jacob Posted April 20, 2006 Share Posted April 20, 2006 i don't think its a Media center issue, why don't u try to get into recovery console (if u have) and run chkdsk /r.
