:hello: whats the best way to changethe taskbar color? so it can be incorparated into my unatended cd, would it be with res hacker somehow?

taskbar? you mean a bar with start button and tray button lol :D

if you're xp :
try to add visual theme, don't forget to add a patch version of uxtheme.dll

if you're win2k/9x/me :
grab some registry hack to change the color scheme

you mean you want the taskbar on top of the screen? like macos did? just don't lock the taskbar and drag it, simple? yes

Ok, but without a theme? I mean with photoshop on certain graphics textures? :}

if you're good at PS you can create your own .msstyles.

Yep, I can work with PS :thumbup
What file do I have to edit to get the graphic textures for the task bar, selected bar, etc?
How can I create my own msstyle that are you talking about? :unsure:

you can use stardock skin editor to edit msstyle and make your own version :D

I already did it, but I can't apply it without WindowsBlind... :}
Do I have to install it?

you can save it as visual style (.msstyle???) then apply it after use patched uxtheme.dll

thanks man I got the patched version...
now I just replace the windows/system32 version? :rolleyes:
