whats the best way to changethe taskbar color? so it can be incorparated into my unatended cd, would it be with res hacker somehow?

taskbar? you mean a bar with start button and tray button lol

if you're xp :
try to add visual theme, don't forget to add a patch version of uxtheme.dll

if you're win2k/9x/me :
grab some registry hack to change the color scheme

Yep, I can work with PS
What file do I have to edit to get the graphic textures for the task bar, selected bar, etc?
How can I create my own msstyle that are you talking about?

you can use stardock skin editor to edit msstyle and make your own version

I already did it, but I can't apply it without WindowsBlind...

thanks man I got the patched version...
now I just replace the windows/system32 version?
