can i use a mobile cpu in my socket 754 mobo, Asrock K8NF4G, to be exact

if the chipset is the same (i.e. the mobile CPU is a socket 754), it should work.

I think the heatsink becomes a problem since not having a heatspreader makes the chip a little shorter.

hmmm true... the big base of my zalman maybe a waste for it
