[Manuel Toubes]

Both compueters have Windows XP. One is a PC the other is a notebook. The PC is pluged directly on the router and from hear to the modem (bellsouth). The notebook is connected wireless to the router. In both computers I have no problem surging internet.
The problem is when I try to share files using a home network. In the destok when I click on the my network places I see both computers, but whe I select the notebook and right click on it a widows shows up asking me for a password. I tried with alll my passwords but nothing works. Any help with this? I would appreciate it.

Did you set up a folder to share? Are you using Simple File Sharing? Did you disable Guest Account Status in your Local Security Policy?

Yes I did set up a folder to share. I am using Simple File Sharing. I did not disable Guest Account Status. I don't know how to do that.
