Change Log

- Cleaned up top menus.
- Removed nLite version 1.0.1 + detection. (Was annoying)
- NLPC now opens and reads .nlp (NLPC Plugin Information) files from the Windows Explorer.
- Modified Ricktendo64 open folder from Windows Explorer. NLPC will now get the file content of the selected directory.

N-Lite Plugin Creator
Change Log

Version 1.2.0 RC2

Added ZIP, 7Z compression methods.

Added a better Folder & File Select dialog (this wll now revert back to the last directory that was selected).

Added selected file information dialog.

Added the ability to create stand alone 7Zip SFX archives (self extracting, self installing archives).

Added the ability to view the plugin source. This will create an output directory of you're plugin so you can view, inspect and test you're plugin.

Removed CABARC. You cannot create .CAB files now.

Added AutoFileExecute.exe. This file will automatically execute multiple files without user interaction.

you can now press the return button as well as double click in the file boxes.

I have made a couple of changes to the UI, nothing to drastic.

Everytime i try to create a Nero plugin it says "Error file not found"

I found thread about beta 2 and applied the patch for that and everything works fine now. Might want to add the patch to the next release.

Yeah sorry the "ERROR 53" is caused by "CABTOOL" I will try to resolve this issue as soon as possible but for now I sagest you use "CABARC"

I won't use it since I use WIHU and 7zip but I find your work greate.
Also, I think you could achieve higher compression by using this switches with makecab:

makecab /D CompressionMemory=21 /D CompressionType=LZX file.ext

This works with makecab but I don't know if cabarc accepts it.

yeah it does also work with CABARC so this compression option will be in the next version due soon

Future Plans for NLPC Beta

In the next version there will be the option to select 7ZIP as a compression method. also im working on a multi language version so I will need all your help in the future to translate some text for me.
If you have any sergestions that could be added onto the next version of NLPC please add em to this thread

I have 7-zip installed, and I select 7-zip compression, but it doesn't appear to compress anything. I tried creating a a plugin for the Flash 9 beta. The installer is 1 meg. The finished the cab with "Ultra" compression is 33 megs.

Something is wrong.

Wrong tool mate N-Lite Plugin Creator doesn’t use 7zip. you want NLite Add-On Maker 1.2.3
