Is there really...
I'm guessing this is a hoax, I can't seem to find it, especially only after a one week that 1.5.0.3 has come out...

LOL sorry but not many people check on the CVSs and nightlys.
v2.0 Alpha is out but I'm not gonna go near that until the stable (or sort of stable beta) comes out!

EDIT

Quote

This software product was tested thoroughly and was found absolutely clean, therefore it can be installed with no concern by any computer user. However, it should be noted that this product will be retested periodically and the award may be withdrawn, so you should check back on this page from time to time.

So it is still sort of beta.

the quote you are refering to is about spyware malware and stuf like that..
not about alpha or beta stage, -

it doesn't even meen that this software actualy works,
even though, softpedia guys dont spill bandwidth so you could think it at least works without HUGE buggs..

Also, the Help | Check for Updates doesn't flag anything as needed.
Has anybody tried v2 Alpha? what's it like?

all i can say is if you look at firefox release they have gone 1.5.0.1 to 1.5.0.3 so unless they are going to skip 1.5.0.4 this is going to be the next one they release

its in a cab file for use with nlite or rvm intergrator to use in a batch file i think you would just put the exe in you oem folder and in your batch file after the exe put -ms but i could be wrong as i only use nlite method myself

Its first placed on their FTP server.. some really crazy people monitor their FTPsite, once a new version is uploaded, they scream New version!
But it can take days before it is officially launched, then ofcourse your Firefox will update itself.

Firefox installs silently using the -ms switch!
Also you can set it to skip the annoying IE Import Wizard.. forgot how.. its easy though.

what was the point of your post i think everyone knows it auto updates and its easy to make a silent installer for it i made this for myself and posted it incase anyone else wanted, but when i posted it there was comments about it being a beta which i didnt believe it was and now its been made final just proves that mozilla were just holding off release of it
