Hi,
I have 2 games installed on my pc (windows x64) these are Half Life 2 , Act Of War: Direct Action.
When I open half life 2 I get this error message:
half life 2 Available memory less than 128MB
And when I open act of war, it doesnt open at all it says:
ACTOFWAR has encountered a serious problem and needs to be close
Both these games were working fine on 32bit. Please help.
Edit: Does Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter work with x64?

Half Life 2
Yep it works under windows XP 64, but you have to let steam download all the patches.
If that is done, it will run and even says that it is running on a 64bit pc.

Patches are downloaded automatically through steam, so if it was downloading a patch he wouldnt be able to play the game, it would say availible to play in x minutes.

Not true if you say that it' doesn't have to update the game automaticly.
And mostley if you do an install form cd or dvd this will be the case.

True, but by default it updates automatically unless specified.

There is always the option that Steam is running in Offline Mode, in which case, nothing will download

He didn't post his memory right?
If hl2 encountered a memory (128 mb) problem it should be that...
Though I don't expect he has less than 128 ramm!
(There's standing available memory, since other programs take mem too, I also suggest to close other programs while trying to play HL2)
