No, it contains IE 5.0 (98 first edition contains IE 4.01SP1 and Me contains IE 5.5)

You can launch the installation from "msbatch.inf", in a silent no-reboot mode. After this, you can install other stuff, and then reboot the system.

You need some fancy number of quotes in both the msbatch and ie-explorer.

Another option is to put some sort of iesetup.txt or something in the ie folder, and then launch the setup normally. It will find the setup text and do all of this automatically without a reboot.

I.E. 5.x is a dead issue. Many things just don't work well with it at all.
It's become just too dangerous to use.

Replace it with I.E. 6.x and be done with it.
You can get the IE 6 CD from Microshaft or from any good tech.
(It seems like I've had it,,,,forever!)

Then get all the latest fixes and patches for it from M$.

Cheers,
