i have read pretty much everything on this, i still can't work out how to use it or even start it.

if i double click on WPI.HTA to use it, it opens the source in Notepad???

whats that all about???

say i get past this how, and i mean exactly how can i run the program independantly from anything to do with the windows install??

i am truley lost and from other posts i am not alone.

is there any instructions, not for dummies but for the braindead of us???

what i need is a program that i can use to select the programs i wish to install After and independantly of the windows install.

can this do this and if so how???

Search ur hard disk for mshta.exe and open it with that.
I cant open it, it opens the file but all I see is a white screen
I am using windows xp so it should work...

right click on WPI.HTA
click on "Open With"
browse to window\system32\mshta.exe
click on mshta.exe.
click "ok"
check the little box "always open with" so the it will open automatically next time.

i wish there was a better way to start wpi but there's not.
