I am receiving the following event on my 2003 server.
DMI Indication: Event type "Power Supply Likely to Fail" reported for Ppower Supply Group.
I don't know how to proceed to troubleshoot. We have a UPS. Is this event referring to our UPS or is it referring to the power supply in our server?
I did a search on Microsoft site and Google for this message and couldn't find any help.
Thanks for any help.

DMI Indication Power Supply Likely to Fail

That sounds pretty straight forward, you probably have a failing power supply. Most servers have status LEDs on the back of the chassis or front alarm lights to indicate such.
I have the oddest DMI message - status keeps changing between lower critical and non crital with "voltage probes" and my dual power supplies are fine. My guess is I am looking at a failing VRM header for one of the redundant CPU's.
You ought to just replace your power supply before it dies
