OK so I'm trying to install the driver for my MX1000 mouse with no luck at all. Same thing with the CD supplied drivers or with the newest SetPoint 2.60 from logitech.
When I run the setup, it starts normally but when it's installing it doens't bother to stop and detect my mouse like it's supposed to. I just goes straight to the end and asks for a reboot. After that you discover that it only copied a handful of the needed files - the required .exe to even run setpoint is not there at all.
Any ideas?

Right Click the .exe and select properties, then click on the "Compatability" tab, in the drop down box select Windows XP. That what I did to get them to work.
