Just ignore those errors, there's nothing wrong with your machine. It's just the fault of the web page.

I agree with LLXX on this one. Since it was a CHM file you were using, PROBLEMCHYLD, it might be a faulty CHM help file with bad scripts. so it's microsoft's fault for making a bad CHM Help file.

Which version of IE you have...?
Just copy the newest MSHTML.DLL to ..\Windows\System folder
to run some programs based on html engine.Posted Image

I don't like IE,for me Opera is the best browser ever...

nicke85 made a good point. PROBLEMCHYLD forgot to mention what version of IE he used when he had the script error problem.

I like Opera web browsers too. I'm currently beta testing Opera 9 and it's in beta 2 (build 8473) stage. some bugs need to be worked out before it reaches final release.

Thanx erpdude8!Posted Image

PROBLEMCHYLD why you don't try to install MSXML 3.0 Service Pack 5 (SP5) MSXML3.DLL...
I think that MDGx has that update in his site...
Seems to be that it's the lastest xml update before IE7.
It is the best for system administration to work when you're offline, but for web browsing
install Opera because it's fully xml based browser...
Opera has support for wml pages also that u can surf on mobile sites(W@P)...
I hope that u understand what i want to say...Posted Image

This is the result of installing this client? http://download.microsoft.com/download/win...N-US/msl2tp.exe

Entering
mk:@MSITStore:C:\Program%20files\Microsoft%20IPSec%20VPN\MSSECLNT.chm::msseclnt_topnode.htm
to IE 6.0 SP1 displays the content correctly.

I have MSXML 3.0 SP3 installed as part of IE6SP1 but I don't know if the error is related to it.

Is it posible to describe how to reproduce the bugs, step-by-step?

Make sure you have all updates installed
install Dun 1.4 /msl2tp.exe
then navigate to Microsoft IPSec VPN Help and you should see it.

What means "all updates"?

So you mean:
1. Clean Windows 98 SE install, default (or what?) components
2. All updates from Windows Update (IE6 yes or no?)
3. Install http://download.microsoft.com/download/win...us/dun14-se.exe
4. Install http://download.microsoft.com/download/win...N-US/msl2tp.exe
or anything more?

So I have prepared clean full Windows 98SE install + IE6.0SP1 full install + I have installed the the a.m. packages, it was necessary to uninstall Internet Connection Sharing before to install the msl2tp.exe package.

Then I went to Start menu -> Programs -> Microsoft IPSec VPN -> Microsoft IPSec VPN Help and it displayed correctly.

Then I entered the a.m. URL (starting with mk: ) to IE and again the page displayed correctly.

What other test should fail?

I dont't know what Unofficial patches you have installed? Maybe there is the problem?
