Can I update WinPE2.0 "kernel"? e.g. PE2005 supports WinXPSP2 & 2K3SP1... Rate Topic: -----

I have a Vista OPK CD, it's WinPE kernel is 5308, and I have Vista 5384 source, can I make a 5384 WinPE
image?

the win PE core cannot be replaced, you can try and copy in the versions of the files to the PE, but i don't think that i will work

I have tried "copy file", and got "C0000001" error message every time. :w00t:

you will have to wait for the BDD 3.0 to come out, WAIK has been rolled into that, it was release june 8th to select Connect members, if anyone on the boards has access and would like to share i am sure we would all love to snag a copy
