Is there a site that lists all the post-SP2 hotfixes for Windows XP Home Edition? Like this one for Windows XP Pro: http://www.msfn.org/...showtopic=31886

Thanks.

I think that list is for XP Home, not just Pro...

You can also search on Microsoft Technet: http://www.microsoft...ty/current.aspx

I like to mark:

Quote

Show only bulletins that contain updates that have not been replaced by a more recent update.
If that is marked then take note of, in green:

Quote

The update for the selected product has been replaced by the update in the following bulletin(s
wich can appear, and possibly right after new updates

To this day, it seem that two (2) replaced cumulative updates are shown and one for WMP.
This could mean that the shown Windowsxp (post SP2) updates are fewer than 49

I find update packs better cos you don't just get hotfixes, but other bugs fixed, flash player etc.

The flash player issue is for flash player 6.0 from original windows xp. So Microsoft path its system. But if you use directly the latest Flash Player from Adobe no patch needed. It's the same as Java technology. If you have installed SP1 or RTM windows xp the patch for java is needed, but now all use Sun Java so no updates required from Microsoft ...
For me, I hate post update pack ...
