hello

in normal windows, when I connect my usb external hard disk, windows recognizes it and it gives it a letter

in nlite-windows, although I dont think I removed something relevant, while windows recognize the driver properly, it doesnt give it a letter and it doesnt display it in 'my computer'

any ideas?

thanks

Try hitting F5 while in my computer.
Do you get the icon to remove your hardware in the systray ?

do you map any network drives?
look in start, run, diskmgmt.msc

has it been corrupted?

I dont think I have any network drives

the interesting fact is that the usb disk appears in diskmgmt.msc
tha fact that its space is unallocated is responsible that windows dont see it?

If the drive is not formatted yet, then it will not show up normally.
You must have at least one active partition on it.
