I have 6 Word documents. A master and 5 input documents. When a user saves an input document a macro inserts the content in the master.doc.
How can I prevent users from opening and editing master.doc while still allowing write access to update content with the input documents?

Open the master document then go to TOOLS > OPTIONS > SECURITY and put in a password to open the master document. Now no one can open/edit the master but can still access the sub documents.
