ZcWorld Posted July 4, 2006 Share Posted July 4, 2006 not that i know of but i keep the file name short but the .cab file name i use a long namelikejava 2 env 5 update 7j2e5u7.exe for the silent install file but the java 2 env 5 update 7.cab so i know what im looking at , or if your good you can remeber the shorten name so its all good what is the limit ... i dont know ... T D Posted July 4, 2006 Share Posted July 4, 2006 But on the unattended guide, when installing updates, it sez to rename WindowsXP-KBxxxxxxxx-ENU.exe to KBxxxxxxxx.exe.
