Windows Messenger 4.7 isn't listed at the Messenger site anymore, but this link is still working:

While MSN Messenger 6 may look more visually appealing, Windows Messenger remains to be a solid corporate client supporting .NET, SIP and Exchange protocols.

Agreed!
I still use 5 and below. I find alot more stability in those builds over 6.

Thanks all.

But I only want to know if there is a build-in windows messenger in windows server 2003 Standard edition.

Surely there isn't?

To:AaronXP
Thank you!
I find Windows messenger is only removed from MSN site, but still listed in "messenger "site.
Windows messenger -- http://messenger.microsoft.com
MSN messenger-- http://messenger.msn.com
:)
Can you tell me if there is a build-in windows messenger in 2k3?If not ,WHY?And in the site creating an unattended windows 2003 cd,why there isn't an unattended installing method for windows messenger? Thanks!

No, there's no built-in MSN/Windows Messenger in Windows Server 2003.

The reason why I didn't add Windows Messenger for the Win2k3 Unattended guide was because Windows Messenger was primarily for XP only. But if it works fine, I'll add it! :)

Thanks everyone!

That helped me out too! I was a little sceptical at first, but now I will install it. :)
