Size maybe ?
XP without SP is around 550MB.

Also, there should be no $OEM$ folder at the root of the CD.
Afaik there should be no winnt.sif file in the i386 folder in a MS CD.

:)

If you have an OEM CD (customized by a manufacturer) it can be used with nlite but it's better to clean customization from it. If you wonder how to clean it, just ask. ;)

Browse to the dir in nLite and it sez scanning, then it sez what build and service pack.
I was lucky enough to get a gold xp home but it's upgrade :(

Some files will be replaced by service packs. So you may try to copy your CD to the hard drive, then use /integrate to integrate a service pack (look here for the "manual" way).
Btw, do you know which files are corrupted/impossible to copy ?
