Exchange Server 2003 rename Rate Topic: -----

Has anyone renamed a 2003 Exchange server? I need to move my Certificate Authority which currently resides on another server to my Exchange Server (not recommended but dont have a choice at this point). I'm concerned renaming the server to the original name my CA was will put me in break/fix mode. Has anyone done this before?

i don't think what you are planning to do is possible, you might be able to renemae the exchange machine (but i think it is a hassle) but moving the CA isn't possible unless the machien stays the same, is it an Root CA?
