This is of no use to me since,

the HDD does not get Detected and Blue Screen of death comes to live.

Plz Plz hlp me out

Just tell me how do I integrate SATA Drivers to Text Mode using nLite 1.01

yes there is "TxtSetup.oem"

but I am not Sure is it in da right Directory

the Directory Structure is as follows

\VIA\Floppy -----> this is da location of da "txtSetup.oem"

But da drivers r in another folder followed by/floppy

the complete path is as follows

\VIA\Floppy\PIDE\Winxp

\VIA\Floppy\RAID\Winxp

there r 3 files in RAID\WinXp

1.viamraid.cat

2.viamraid.inf

3.VIAMRAID.sys

Is this setup Correct

If yes then how do I add drivers in TEXTMODE

Cant anyone help me out!

If you don't have a RAID, why do you want to integrate the SATA drivers as TEXTMODE drivers?

Windows XP with integrated SP2 normally detects SATA hdd's automaticly during setup. You can test ist by booting off the XP CD without pressing F6.

The driver package you have used does not have a special SATA driver, but only a SataRaid driver.

Are you sure, that you have done all necessary BIOS settings to activate your SATA-RAID ports?

Although you don't have a RAID array (2 hdd's minimum), try to activate RAID within your BIOS too.

Some mainboards need activated RAID for a proper use of the SATA ports.

By the way: The SATA drivers have nothing to do with your used hdd. What you need are VIA drivers for the VT8237 Integrated Serial ATA RAID controller, which is on your mainboard. There are neither SATA drivers for Samsung disks nor for Samsung SATA SP0812C. When you have done the needed BIOS settings and loaded the correct VIA SataRaid drivers, you can work with every SATA hdd (unless SATA2 ones, because your board doesn't support them).
