Heres a new patch if it does not work for you, upload your msgina.dll and PM me the link so I can make one that works with that specific version http://rapidshare.de...msgina.exe.html

Under Windows XP SP2, my msgina.dll version is 5.1.2600.2180!
This is the file I'm hacking in the first post.
When I download and install WindowsXP-KB875506-v2-x86-ENU, my msgina.dll version is 5.1.2600.2833!
This is what shown in Post #7.

You can also install MS Hotfix KB875506 and add a new registry setting:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System\Shutdown] "ShowHibernateButton"=dword:00000001
This hotfix has an updated MSGINA.DLL which allows for all four buttons to appear on the signoff dialog.
Some OEM PC's ship this update (I have seen it on some Sony PC's for example) so it's available out there.
This hotfix should be available from the usual online sources.
note: for future readers of this thread - WinXP Service Pack 3 included the Hotfix KB875506 that PsiMoon314 mentioned here
