Hey Anybody !!
I need to remove the default U.S. language setting from Word 2003.
When I go into the office tools under all programs, microsoft office, then to the language settings, the U.S. is not listed. Bust when you go into word, tools, language settings the U.S. is listed and ticked. Does anyone know what the reg key is to remove this from Word ? I am trying to add the Australian language settings which appear, but when you are typing it stills picks up the U.S spellings.
I have changed all regional settings to Australia and rebooted as well.
Shaun.

The languages that are shown above the line in Word, Tools language set language are the ones listed in the details box of Regional and languages, Languages tab/details.
Control panel, regional and languages, Languages tab, click details, you can remove English (United States) from there and add English (Australia) and make the latter the default.
