Hi,

I am currently having problems sending emails in Outlook 2003. This was
previously working fine and nothing should have changed in the setting
but now I can only receive emails. When sending I get the error
message: "The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem
continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service
provider (ISP)."

To try and fix this I increased the timeout limit to 2 minutes which
didn't work and when trying to send a test email message through the
email account settings it came up with this error:
"The specified server was found, but there was no response from the
server. Please verify that the port and SSL information is correct."

I have 5 email accounts which comes from two different servers and they
all have the same problem so it seems likely that the problem is my end
somehow.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Kevin

What changed from the time that you could send out e-mails to the time that you couldn't? Did you add any programs or make any configuration changes? Did you reconfigure your firewall? What firewall do you have?

That's what I'm confused about too! :D I'm running Norton Internet Security and have tried disabling Norton AntiSpam but this didn't work.

Maybe an automatic Norton or Windows update could have done this?
