darkkavenger
Check if you have in IE Settings, section languages, at least one language installed. The lack of language installed caused my Wupdate at work to report errors.

jayroller
I installed the Server 2003 Sp1 (v1039) lat night, now when I go to windowsupdate, it scans my computer, then shows "Windows Update is looking for available updates... 100% complete" - and thats it. Nothing else happens. Is it the SP, or is windowsupdate just doing what come naturally to a microsoft product?

jayroller
or you dont get the message where it says that you have all the lates software installed?Precisely, it never says "no updates available...", just gets stuck on displaying 100% complete. Just wondering if it's a known issue with SP1 - which so far has been solid apart from this, no glitches or errors (*crosses fingers*) - or if its related to other peoples problems with the windowsupdate site. vcant
windows update worked fine for me today, i would say the problem is SP1.....
darkkavenger
Did it propose you a security update for IE6 or Outlook Express 6? It kept showing me no updates available until today. But i was able before to install other updates. On the Knowledge Base, Microsoft says this problem can come from having no language installed on the Tools/Settings/Language windows in IE.
