Josef1975 Posted August 19, 2006 Share Posted August 19, 2006 I have builded my own copy of xp professional sp2 unattended using last version of nlite; I tested it with vmware 5 and all worked fine (no question during install except thos I wanted) but after I got two small problem:1) automatic updates are still turned off and I have to manually activate them (I choose enable it in nlite options, I think)2) video resolution is not set to 1024.768 (as I want) but still 640*480 (and windows alert me to set it to higher value)any suggestion? ZcWorld Posted August 19, 2006 Share Posted August 19, 2006 (edited) simple thing to problem #2 is dont change it .. dont touch that tab .. its give u problems in Vmware and cant remember if it does change the screen size in the real pc installl or not .. i just skip that tab and when windows boots up its goes to 800 x 600 in Vmware try adding the vmware drivers to the iso... see if that fix any problem in testing#1i think auto update is enabled by XP default unless you change it Edited August 19, 2006 by ZcWorld Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
