I've not tried Resource Hacker, but I have read a couple of times on other sites about occasional problems when changing various resources.

Just highlighting this so others know.

All the best guys.

This could be true given that people don't know what they are doing.

I'm writting an app called "Reshacker Script Creator" wich will let you create Reshacker scripts with ease. I just started yesterday so it will take a bit to get a full-working Alpha. I'm sure that this app + this tut will be very useful for customization lovers :)

It comes handy. I repeat the same mods every time MS releases a new hotfix.

Having a script should save alot of time.

damian :hello:

Use the shell32.res file in the .zip attached.

Also put reshacker in the same folder.

Put your shell32.dll file in the same folder and run the following command.

ResHacker.exe -addoverwrite shell32.dll, shell32.dll, shell32.res,,,

This adds the .bmp and modifies the Dialog in your shell32.dll.

shell32.res.zip
