I have create an unattended installation for win2003r2
I have put all my drivers in the $oem$\$$\Drivers on the cd.
Everything works fine with them.
But when i delete these files after instalation, everything still works
fine.
I know windows keeps most drivers in C:\WINDOWS\system32/drivers
But there are only .sys files.
I have also .cat and .inf file for the chipset (no .sys for the
chipset), where can i find these back in the system32 folder? ??

Of course... This folder only serves as the driver source. From there, they get copied to the correct locations during installation.

The .inf files should be in C:\WINDOWS\inf; the .cat files can be found in C:\WINDOWS\system32\CatRoot.
