ive never had this problem before... im trying to resize a partition on my hdd, but there is a red X and i cant resize it?

nvm, it chkdsk fixed it, f***ing vista pre-rc1 screwing up my disk again!

yepp i had same problem.....i think vista rewrites partition table and this new one is not recognized by software ......

I assume you're trying to reduce the size since no space before or after. Have you tried deleting that partition and creating a new one (provided there's no data on it?

as i said i fixed it thru chkdsk
