Ponch
Hopefully you'll get an answer but I think Nuhi wrote a few days ago that MCE is not supported by nLite.

nuhi
This theme_doesn't_stick_in_MCE is not nlite problem.I tend to say that MCE isn't supported because when you remove some components it breaks Media Center and even MCE cd-key doesn't work. When I see what needs to be kept then it will be supported. MagicAndre1981
When I see what needs to be kept then it will be supported.I mailed this to you through ICQ..NET 1.0 and MediaPlayer must be keept in MCE and so the WIndows-DVD created with nLite works.@harezcheck the HIVESFT for the following lines:HKLM,"SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes","CustomInstallTheme",0x00020000,"%Systemroot%\Resources\Themes\xxxxx.theme"HKCU,"Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\LastTheme","ThemeFile",0x00020000,"%Systemroot%\Resources\Themes\xxxxx.theme"HKCU,"Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\LastTheme","Wallpaper",0x00020000,"%SystemRoot%\web\wallpaper\xxxxx.jpg"If they are inside the [shell]CustomDefaultThemeFile will be ignored by Setup. nuhi
MagicAndre1981, thanks for the theme fix tip!But about components, I got the MCE for trial and it's not just those, maybe you remove little and so it is for you but I must find maximum allowable removals to finish that compatibility option.
